Publisher's Summary

Some people are unforgettable.

Like the first sheriff that pulled you over for speeding. The first person to kiss you senseless on the hood of a car. And the first guy to make you orgasm.

But when all of those things are from the same man, let’s just say unforgettable doesn’t even come close.

I wonder if he ever thinks about me and everything we almost had.

Oh, he remembers, and he’s prepared to put his money where his mouth is....

A SWEET SECOND CHANCE TO AIR SECRETS

Successful children’s author Sophie returns back home to Orlando after ten years away and her ex boyfriend Carter is annoyed, confused and still completely drawn to the woman who suddenly walked out on him, and their relationship, all those years earlier.. breaking his heart. He never knew why and never got over it, or moved on.. and now he didn’t want to hear any excuses why Sophie walked away from their love. Carter was the love of Sophie’s life and, in ten years, nothing’s changed.. well except the handsome young traffic cop who once pulled her over is now a toned and tempting motorcycle cop. Sophie knew she had to tell Carter the truth.. to build bridges between them.. but, just as things get sorted and safe, it turns out Stella isn’t the only one with life-altering secrets.

A really nice sweet second change romance with good secondary characters made up of friends and family who are intertwined throughout each chapter to push, to lend an ear, to bring humor, to support and to assist whenever Sophie and Carter needed it. Both hero and heroine were caring, thoughtful, kind and their chemistry was instant. There was romance and sex as well as some angst, emotional, touching and humorous scenes in this dual POV storyline. Great narration.

Worth a credit? Yes, it was a smooth, sweet, fairly light, enjoyable and entertaining listen.. even with its unbelievable - eye-rolling - as if scenes.

A beautiful story

This was a beautiful story. I would've preferred more intimacy for my taste, but a story worth reading or listening too.

This series is amazing

This is my third “Iron Orchids” book, and just downloaded the fourth. The stories are original, fast paced, and to out the cherry on top, Stella Bloom (my very favorite narrator) and Jonathan Ash elevate the book well beyond five stars.

Unbelievably Great Book!

Carter & Sophie’s story is so fantastic and will suck the reader in completely. This second chance romance is deep, emotional and super steamy too. Readers will want to get the tissues ready because their story will take you on the ride of your life. Twists and turns keep the mystery alive in this book. The others members of the Cristokos family and the Iron Orchids clans are an integral part of this story as well. Still a stand-alone book but nice to have returning characters from book one. Don’t miss this incredible journey between Carter & Sophie. Highly recommended.

Almost

The Christakos family returns for the 2nd book in the Iron Orchids Series. Sophie used to live with her family in Orlando, her plan was to stay there for a year while her mom temporarily moved to California for work. Instead she packed up and moved across the country without any explanation to the rest of her family. That was ten years ago and Carter Lang is still wondering what happened to the girl he fell in love with who just disappeared on him all those years ago. Then his best friend- Kayson- and the entire family are preparing for their cousin Sophie to move back home and answers start falling into place. The problem is that Carter still doesn't have all the answers, and Sophie isn't quite ready to give them to him, or the rest of her family. The audio for this was great. The books in this series have so much heart and family while still having a tone of laughs and fun.

A great listen!

Danielle Norman hits it out of the park, again, with Almost, book 2 in the Iron Orchids series. Carter and Sophie are taking a second chance at love and with all of the Iron Orchids and their help and an extended Greek family, what could go wrong. This was a great story, great characters, and great narration. These two narrators made the book come to life.

Another hot cop & a Greek wedding...

Sophie, cousin to Kasen from bk 1, has finally returned home to FL after leaving 10yrs ago without a reason to everyone. She was in her senior year of HS and was having a 'thing' with a rookie sheriff's deputy.. Sophie's abrupt departure left both her family and the rookie, Carter, perplexed and heartbroken. Now Sophie's back and Carter is still single...sort of...will they make a go at the relationship thing, or will secrets from both of their pasts derail it all? Lots of laughter in this one...the ladies of the Iron Orchids MC are a riot! Can't wait to dive into the next book!
