Dabei lernt er Kate kennen, die in ihrem Altruismus und ihrer Menschlichkeit glatt die kleine Schwester von Anouk sein könnte. Mit ihr bekommt Charles, der Anouks Liebe ausgeschlagen und sie schmählich im Stich gelassen hat, eine zweite Chance.
