Publisher's Summary

The 'unparalleled romantic adventure' of Nalini Singh's New York Times best-selling series continues as a new dawn begins for the Psy-Changeling world....

The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: old enemies. New allies. Wary loners. But a century of distrust and suspicion can't be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows, and a kidnapped woman's cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: a child who is both Psy...and changeling.

To find the lost, protect the vulnerable and save Trinity, no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honour even possible with traitors lurking in their midst?

Excellent

The Psy-Changeling world has undergone a staggering transformation and now stands at a crossroads. The Trinity Accord promises a new era of cooperation between disparate races and groups. It is a beacon of hope held together by many hands: Old enemies. New allies. Wary loners. But a century of distrust and suspicion can’t be so easily forgotten and threatens to shatter Trinity from within at any moment. As rival members vie for dominance, chaos and evil gather in the shadows and a kidnapped woman’s cry for help washes up in San Francisco, while the Consortium turns its murderous gaze toward a child who is the embodiment of change, of love, of piercing hope: A child who is both Psy…and changeling. To find the lost, protect the vulnerable—and save Trinity—no one can stand alone. This is a time of loyalty across divisions, of bonds woven into the heart and the soul, of heroes known and unknown standing back to back and holding the line. But is an allegiance of honor even possible with traitors lurking in their midst? This is a new era of trust between the three races but it is by no means a done deal and there are saboteurs to burn, there is so much happening in this world some of it really good and some of it really bad and it is a roller coaster ride to the end. I highly recommend this book as it draws all the tendrils of the Psy-Changeling series together and helps draw us towards the future if only they can overcome the saboteurs and there devious plans.

Great Story between the skipping

Great story as always and Angela Dawe does a great job at bringing the characters to life! Only complaint is there are a lot of sections that skip around. I tried re-downloading on different devices to make sure but the glitches happen in the same spots - luckily the skips only make you lose a couple of words from the sentence when it happens so you don't miss out on too much story.

Great story and consistent volume with the narration. The best book in the series so far.

The recording skips!!!

This is the only book I have ever downloaded that has skipped quite a lot! So much so that I am missing out on crucial parts of the story. I am devastated that I can't listen to it properly.

Errors in every chapter of audio version

First of: It is a sad thing when I have to detract stars of any book due to bad narration let alone from a good one. When I have to do it due to errors in recording, it's like a slap to both the author and a great narrator. Seriously, I would never do that if it was a few glitches. But every chapter, at least one word missing? Please correct this. It's not fair to either party in this story. Regarding this book, it is explained by author as a kind of wrap up of arc one and introduction to another arc, and I did enjoy reading about all our favourite couples again, but still.... It was a bit to mushy for my taste. When you have a real soul mates story in a midst of good suspense, it's believable. When all of relationships in a story are perfect and there's barely anything else happening or too many things happening at a same time? Not so much. I'm still wondering what was the point of this sequel. It left too many doors open and I kinda expected at least some of them closed. Add to it the recording errors factor and it just left a feeling of irritation. Not a brilliant moment for otherwise great author and certainly not a brilliant moment for Audible.

Should Be 5 Stars

I loved the combination of most of the characters from the whole series. What spoiled it was the recording which had chunks just not there. I began to think there was something wrong with my computer. It ruined the whole book because it kept happening, such a shame...I was looking forward to seeing how Ms Singh could include so many characters...not recommended to anyone who hasn't followed the series.

Good story but with hiccups.

A very enjoyable ending of this series. Spoilt only by the many hiccups (breaks) in the recording. Sadly breaking the flow of the story and causing me to remove a star from the overall performance

Love this!

I love this book. It’s the continuation of multiple storylines around a bigger storyline and is fantastic. While I just love the individual character stories this series brings you and I love that Nalini keeps you updated on the progress of the lives of the other characters we’ve met before in lots of small ways in each book. This book is truly fantastic because it’s based around multiple character storylines of some of our favourite characters that all form part of the bigger underlying thread of this book. I really enjoyed it.

Shame about the gaps!

I loved this story tying up all the loose ends to the point in the storyline. It was well read and ‘voiced’ but every so often words were missing. There is something very wrong with this recording and it is disconcerting. I resorted to reading the kindle version at the same time and then noticed a few wrong words ie psychically and physically . Shame.

Disappointing

After enjoying the previous 14 books this was a bit of a shame. The recording is poor quality and has little sections missing throughout, and the story is just a collection of epilogues to the previous books. I felt I had to stick with it so that I didn't miss key parts of the overarching story, but there was nothing here to love.

Fantastic!

Read and heard it before and no doubt will again in the future. Only issue was with baby Nadiya's voice!!!
