Publisher's Summary

On the brink of chaos, the journey of survival begins.

Landon Gray, a skillful "ferry pilot" who delivers planes to customers has one final drop in Alabama before Christmas. But when an EMP causes the plane he’s in to crash on the remote, snow-covered mountains of North Carolina, he’s rescued by Beth "Bluebird" Sullivan, who claims to have lived off the grid since she was born. Beth brings him back to an isolated cabin to recover while waiting for her father to come back from the nearby town. When he doesn’t return, Beth grows increasingly worried while Landon struggles with being far from home. Discovering what the country has suffered is just the beginning, they must now learn to trust each other in order to survive the extreme elements and dangers of a world without power.

All That Remains is book one in Lone Survivor, a post-apocalyptic EMP thriller series following a group of survivors as they fight to stay alive after an EMP destroys the nation's power supply.

EMP with a wealth of Drama

Its amazing how much this audiobook makes you realize how bad things could get and how people might act as something like this could happen. I could not stop listening till I was done with the book and wanting more! It reminds me of some of the best drama series that are on TV.

Sorta dark storyline

I’m a bit torn on this book, it wasn’t bad by any means, actually it was pretty good. What has me torn is the reactions to things or lack there of. Serious stuff happens and people just move past it or barely react to it. On the other hand it was a pretty original story line of the tried and true emp scenario. I’ll more than likely get the next book in the series.

I was giving this book for free in exchange for an honest review.

Great survival story!

This was a riveting book about an EMP striking America and a pilot that gets in over his head with drug dealers right in the middle of the apocalypse. Landon Gray is rescued by Beth and taken to a cabin to recoup and grieve the lost of his daughter in the plane crash. Unfortunately, he is stalked by the drug dealers wanting their stash and people all over the nearest town are ending up dead. I really enjoyed this exciting book and I think the narrator did an excellent job. I can't wait for the next book in the series!

Enjoyed it!

This was a well-written EMP Post-Apocalyptic tale packed with suspense and excellent survival tips. Stranded in a snowy wasteland, Landon Gray, the main character was resourceful and learned what he had to, to survive the snowy wasteland. Listening to this book makes you wonder about how much we take for granted the things we have.

Jack Hunt did an exceptional job with the plot, the characters and the challenges they're confronted with. Miles Meili did an exceptional job narrating this audiobook. Overall, the story had many ups and downs, creating intensity for the readers and listeners. I very much enjoyed both the story and the narration and look forward to listening to the second book in the series.

great book

loved it. nice spin on the genre. only thing I thought was lacking was that there were some deaths that seemed too glossed over. the characters didn't seemed traumatized by deaths of loved ones.

Emp with a twist.

Miles Meiji did a great job on the narration, very engaging. There multiple stories going on and of course as the story proceeds every thing becomes clear.
I really found it difficult to believe that people when viewing the facts dead cellphones, dead cars, planes falling from the sky. Could not for the most part put it all together. But hey its a work of fiction. So yes it is entertaining and worth your time and your dime.

Had me spellbound

This book had me spellbound and hooked from the very beginning. The creation and description of a post-EMP country was so well done that it left me with the creeps for a day or two after. Probably what I get for listening to this at night! But it was totally worth it. Awesome book, and extremely well-narrated by Miles Meili.
