A three-time Christy Award winner, Lynn Austin crafts rousing tales of hope and redemption. All She Ever Wanted stars Kathleen Seymour, a woman who seems to have it all, though she hides a dark family secret. To her horror, everything comes crashing down when she loses her job and her daughter is caught shoplifting. Desperate to regain control over her life, Kathleen returns to her estranged family to mend her severely broken relationships before it is too late.©2005 Lynn Austin (P)2006 Recorded Books, LLC Poetry

"[A] brilliant novel about love, forgiveness, suffering, and the importance of resisting the temptation to run away when things get tough." (Christian Book Previews.com)

this is an amazing tale of how one generation Story impacts the next generation and the Next. It is also an example of how only in the future we understand the past. The depth of each character, the interactions that they have with others in the choices that they make have the listener completely drawn in to their life and all that is going on. There is deception and chaos, sadness and loss. There is also Joy and understanding, forgiveness and Grace. If you like a story of mystery and putting the pieces together – you will love this book

I like how authentic the characters were and that the pitfalls each woman fell into are very real.
I liked the conclusion that really God’s way is the only way to fulfilled life.
