Publisher's Summary
Christians who want to take the next step in their faith walk need look no further. It's time to ante up and go all in with God.
The Gospel costs nothing. You can't earn it or buy it. It can only be received as a free gift, which is compliments of God's grace. It doesn't cost anything, but it demands everything. It demands that we go "all in," putting all that we have into God's hands. But why do so many Christians hesitate to do that? And when did we start believing that the Gospel is an insurance plan? We're afraid that if we go all in that we might miss out on what life has to offer. But Jesus did not die to keep us safe. He died to make us dangerous.
So, let's step out of spiritual no man's land and kneel at the foot of the cross of Christ and surrender to his lordship. It's time to dethrone yourself and enthrone Christ as king, and Pastor Mark Batterson is here to show you how.
Using his customary vivid, contemporary illustrations, as well as biblical characters like Shamgar, Elisha, Jonathan, and even Judas, you will be challenged to trade what Batterson calls "inverted Christianity" for true discipleship as you strip away your excuses and inhibitions and follow God completely.
It's now or never. Are you ready to go all in and all out for God?

My favorite Mark Batterson book!
love Mark Batterson's writing but this is by far the most gospel saturated life changing work in my opinion. All in is the only option in following Christ and in our water down Americanized version of the Gospel we need to be reminded of that!

Eh
For a book called All In, I was expecting it to dig a little further than it did. I found the book to be quite repetitive at times but I did appreciate the overall general message of it. Much prefer the Circle Maker over this book.

Repetitive
This book is pretty repetitive. The message is good, but he seems to pose some weak examples of what “all in” looks like. An example of this is where he talks about how crazy it seemed for him and his church to start a coffee house: That’s not crazy, that’s something that tons of churches are doing. There are surprisingly few examples of those who have truly gone all in, like the millions of Christians who have died for their God.

Good book, mediocre narration
I’ve read a couple of Batterson’s books, and have enjoyed them. The narrator seemed to miss the excitement and wonder of the authors’ tone. I found myself having to replay sections after listening to but not hearing the author’s message.

I literally pulled my hair out!!!
I wanted to like this book but I just couldn’t. The author just used religious jargon and catch phrases but nothing that explained this jargon or how to apply it to your life. The narrator sounded like a male version of Siri and was completely unbearable. Don’t waste your time.

The Line Drawn in The Sand is No Longer Invisible
The line drawn in the sand is no longer invisible, either you :get some help to get yourself together so you can make the choices to get on the right side or you get out the way so everyone and everything else continues. But either way, "I didn't know, I don't know ," Won't WORK ANYMORE!!
You are either ALL IN OR NOT!
Thank you I needed this book in my life, as I am a leader. I now play this book over and over, I gain strength just hearing the beginning of the book, with all the craziness happing today in the world and in the church the line has been clearly drawn.
Thank you again

not the book I thought it was
To me this book felt more like motivational speaking. Through out the book I felt the author repeatedly pushing us out of our comfort zones into service for the Lord. The book doesn't talk much about discerning the will of God and the definition of serving the Lord before jumping all in. This book was highly recommend by a pastor and friend. I'm thankful for the testimonies and the encouragement. Not sure if this book was for me or not. The book grabbed my attention when he quoted from Tozer. Would have love the hear more about how the attributes of God impacted his life and ministry.

This book is a "go and do" book a real challenge
You have to make decisions, this book is for those part time Christian who are indecisive sitting on the fence... it reminds you of the instructions Jesus gave the deciples. "Go ye" Refocuses and reprogrammes the order of Christian priorities God 1st everythimg after. Anti up everything be 'All In' fully committed no plan b because A was perfect.
Was a bit lost at times with the speaker, not fully engaged, but the content kept me listening.
A good listen, well worth the time. if you're already in the mindset where change you feel is about to happen, have a read.
