Publisher's Summary

A car lies crashed below a Welsh mountain road. One of the young women inside it is dead, the other badly injured with no memory of who she is or what just happened. All she has is a bus pass showing her photograph and a name she doesn't recognize.

As she struggles to recover from her injuries, a startling revelation shatters everything she thought she knew, forcing her into an uneasy alliance with Detective Bronwen Pryce. With danger closing in from all sides, the two women must work together to uncover the truth - even if it kills them.

Brilliant engaging mystery with darts of humour

Bought this because I had enjoyed other books which the voice artist had voiced. Turned out to be a great engaging mystery with twists and turns with characters you can relate to.
Definitely worth a try

What a great discovery!

Fantastic writing and cracking narration from the 2nd Cari Hunter I’ve read this week. Love love love the Manchester/welsh accents and it’s a great mix of investigation, tension and romance!! I’m going to binge Cari’s books starting now….

Rushed

The story was ok, well weak, and you can guess the outcome from early on plus the narrator read quite fast which made me feel like I was rushed through the story. Will not be buying anymore from this writer or narrator.

Amazing!

I loved this story, I could barely hold onto the edge of my seat. I felt wrapped up in the frustrations and fears of the main character. the Narrator, as always, nails it! absolutely takes cari hunters amazing stories and runs with them.
I have to say, I usually really dislike 1st person stories. but this one grabbed me and wouldn't let go.
definitely get it!
