good story

His voice is weird but he helps Aleister Crowley come off well and pronounces words correctly. also I'm not sure if they added in FX in certain parts of the reading but I didn't like the deepness of his voice.. definitely not...

Narrator is horrible!

What disappointed you about Aleister Crowley's Liber Al vel Legis?

I couldn't stand listening to this narrator, I was hoping I could listen to the Book of the Law as I work but this guy ruined it. He sounds like he's more interested in listening to himself sound "powerful" rather than provide a quality audio book, I don't know how this got on audible.

What didn’t you like about Dennis Logan’s performance?

Everything.

A cavalcade of vocal fry.

I was elated to see some of Crowley's work on audible but it was a bit painful making it through this one . Keep Crowley's work coming, but dial the vocal fry WAAAAAY back. Other than that, the delivery and mixing were superb!

Don't Read This Book!

The narrator is over the top for this work. The work is bizarre, out of a twisted mind. It is hard to understand. I tried! After 15 minutes I shut it off. Later I slept. Nightmare after nightmare came. Real horrors, waking me every hour. At one point I threw my IPad across the room ( still sleeping I was). I prayed that morning, never again to listen to this evil. 5 stars because this is the real shit. BEWARE!!!

The narration perfectly fits the style.

The narrator fits Crowley's style perfectly and made it extremely enjoyable to listen to. It's worth the price.

should have been read better

I think the reader just literally burped one of Aleister Crowley's books LOL... or that deep voiced guy from one of those Dodge Ram commercials... your voice need not be dark and foreboding just because your reading crowley

did not enjoy narrator

I personally could not stand the narration. Narrator's voice was so hard to bare I couldn't finish this very short title.

Great read, terrible narrator

Dude, tone it down. We get it, you're super metal. This guy sounds like he's in his mom's basement sitting naked underneath his Druid robe with his sword of Enlightenment that he bought off of eBay waiting for his friends to come over for a night of mountain dew and dungeons and dragons. If you want to read The Book if the Law, buy it. Do not listen to this. The narrator probably only knows of Aleister Crowley from the Ozzy Osborne song, still operating under the assumption of the 1920s and 30s that Crowley is a witch or a Madman. he spent his life on the path towards higher consciousness and enlightenment. This narration is a joke.

Ridiculous Narrator Used His "Spooooky Voice"

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Not this particular one due to the terrible narration. Returning it.

Would you be willing to try another book from Aleister Crowley? Why or why not?

If it's a different narrator, yes.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

He read the entire book including the credits in a ridiculous Halloween voice. A demon voice I guess? It really made the book impossible to absorb.

Was Aleister Crowley's Liber Al vel Legis worth the listening time?

It wasn't good but it didn't take very long. 45 mins.

i cannot stand this man narating this book.

i wouldve enjoyed to listen to this book but the narrater seemed to think he needed to indulge in his own theatrics to help portray a meaning that words wouldve done just fine doing.

Interesting book ruined by weird narration

I will have to purchase the written version of this book of what is an interesting text. Sadly the narration is so unbearable and difficult to listen to, I could net even get through thirty minutes of the audiobook. Shame really.
