Publisher's Summary

It's been a few months since the tragic events that unfolded in the town of Rosegrant and life has seemed to be finding a sense of calm again. At least that's what the officials of the town would like to portray to the outside world. The residents of Rosegrant know better. Something evil is simmering all around them. Something that cannot be ignored.

James C. Allenton is a horror writer who had been at the top of his game. Lately however, he'd been struggling with ideas. That is until he met Allie Woodward, one of his younger sisters new friends. She had moved from a small town up north called Rosegrant. Allie had moved to get away from the terrible things that had been happening in the small town. James decides to base his next book's plot about her home town. He likes to do his research up close and personal so he makes the fateful decision to move to the town of Rosegrant. So he can experience the things he's heard about. (Not fully accepting them as truth.) James is about to find out he's in way over his head. As writing a book becomes the least of his worries.
