It's all-out war and our most beloved characters are sorely tested - you'll laugh and you'll cry but maybe do more of the latter! There are more heartbreaking moments (hint "even now") and as a reader, you'll wonder why our favorite mystic has to continue to take such a beating. This series is GREAT - super writing and narration- onto book 4!

This isn’t a happy story to be sure, but it is a emotionally satisfying one. At times I had to take a break in listening, just to absorb what happened and reflect on the emotional gut punch delivered.

But does it deliver? Oh boy it does.
