This book started out fine, hit a snag but came home so strong it's now a favourite book. The tile is perfect. Something my father used to say a lot when I grew up -- again or once more, with feeling.

It's got a lot going on - a REALLY good mystery element, although some hardcore cozy mystery types might not feel that way. Vivienne Carver started it all for Dash and is back again, ringing from the Oregon State Penitentiary, asking Dash to look into her brother's death.

Deputy Bobby and Dash have the right communication eventually, hallelujah! SO happy.

The Last Picks are there and they are quirky and Dash's found family.

On to the next series book.
