I loved this book so much as it was so different from other love stories that I had read before. I’m not normally a book person but Anna Todd really got me hooked and I read all of the series in less than a month. Between watching the movies, reading the books, rereading the books and following the cast and Anna herself, it is a thing that brings great joy to my life and has gotten me through a lot of bad times where I just needed to escape. Feeling all of the feelings to a great extent I never ever get bored of this series. I suggest it to all of my friends when I can get the chance! Definitely for an older audience as there are some pretty hot and heavy scenes. If you’re not a hopeless romantic who loves a good love story with a twist this series is not for you.

even tho this is a story about a young man and woman and is read by only one woman, she still manages to deliver the feels and expression of all the characters voices, 100% loved it, I watched the movies first then decided to listen to the audio book and I'm so glad, such a wonderful, beautiful and heartbreaking story, I look forward to listen to the rest 🩷

!BEING ABUSIVE IS NOT A QUIRKY CHARACTER TRAIT!

Are you looking for a book that includes slut shaming, abusive relationships, judgemental attitudes, romanticising underage alcoholism and sex whilst only one person is under the influence (cough, rape, abuse of power cough) than this book is for you.

Spoiler alert:
I was hoping he would kill her in the end or at least try to and this story would be a moral to all people to pick up the signs of abuse but it sadly wasn’t.

Hardin isn’t romantic, this is not a healthy relationship to idolise and it makes me physically ill.

I am sick of the “boy is mean to me so I love him” story line. This is not real life. This is pathetic.

Being abusive is not a quirky character trait.

If you don't mind stories about naive young girls allowing moron boys to treat them like dirt this is the book for you. That said, I listened all they way through the cringey, eye-rolling, smh moments to the end.
The story moves at a very slow pace, and seems to stroll until the wedding, then sprints to the finish line.
Dissatisfied that the advertised bonus material (read by Anna Todd & Hero Fiennes-Tiffin) did not download so I feel slightly ripped off. Waiting for a reply from Audible and/or tech support.
