The first book in the series was interesting although started a little slow, but luckily there was enough to whet my appetite to see where the series went. With this second book it feels like the author is hitting their stride and I'm now eager to see what comes next.

the leveling progression over time was brilliant and the overall storyline is amazing

The MC is just annoyingly weak yet keeps trying to talk big like he is some super hero. talks up earth like its filled with benevolent beings.
