He’s done it again!
Paulo Coelho has written another great book exploring humanity and spirituality. Don’t let the title and the top layer of the story fool you. It just makes the real themes perhaps more accessible than some of his other works. This is another beauty about life; its struggles and rewards. Most importantly, it reveals the nature and value of true love.

Disappointed
Love Pauli Coelho usually but found this boring and the readers tone monotonous. The character was so unlikable I didn’t care what happened to her.

Did not see that coming...
This frustrating story about adultery doesn't makes sense until the end. I love how raw and honest it was. PC captures the female psyche so well when describing Linda's heightened emotions and her irrational plans. It comes full circle when Linda's husband confesses he felt exactly as she did, cutting off emotionally to ignore the grief he felt. But they both embark on their 'rediscovery of self' as a married middle aged couple when they take on new challenges and face their fears head on.

Not for me
I am a very big PC fan but this was a struggle to read. I completed it because it was PC but really didn't enjoy this book at all.... it was so wishy washy.... just a self centered woman who justified sleeping with a man o outside her marriage.... the sex didn't even sound worth going back for . terrible book sorry Paulo.
