Change is mixed bag
Fine addition to the series, if possibly inconsequential going forward.
Other reviews have mentioned the change in narration and it is glaring.
While the new narrator is probably better overall his portrayal of Victor feels wrong. A character whose voice has always previously been described as flat and cold has suddenly become given much more diversity of delivery.
Victor has gone from an Agent 47 type to leaning into Roger Moore territory. Humour has shifted from being delivered with deadpan irony to a knowing smirk in a way that isn’t explained by character arc.
It is an unfortunate change that is at least made up for by the slight improvement in overall reading of the text.

Change in Victor the Assassins
The book was still good but there was definitely a change in Victors character. Seemed to be a bit much reflection and explanation compared to previous books in the series. still enjoyable though.

Extremely enjoyable
While the narrator for this book was great I was so used to the voice of the original narrator that I felt like this book was about a whole different character. The storyline was true to Victors style and full of the unexpected, with a lot of twists and turns.
