Good story

The story itself was really good and I think I’ll start the second book. My only dislike was the reader for this book. His character impersonations were awful. Especially Sam and the principal. Would have preferred if they were just read in a normal tone. His impersonation of Sam sounded like something from Revenge of the Nerds. I cringed so hard at times and I nearly didn’t listen to the book because of it.

Great start to a series

I watched the movie and was disappointed they didn’t make another one so I decided to listen to the book and it was fantastic and couldn’t stop listening and can’t wait to listen to the rest. Just the type of series I was looking for.

Great story

Great story for the older kids. As an adult I found it a light and entertaining read. Will check out the rest of the series.

An enjoyable story

I enjoyed the story, some of the voices were irritating at first but I got used to them.
The music at the start and end was too loud and unnecessary.

Fantastic Story, narrating occasionally hard to listen to

I love this series and love that I can now listen to it!
Unfortunately the narrator doesn’t have very good depth to the characters voices, especially Sam, it’s constantly sounds like his (and other characters) nose is blocked. Otherwise still a great listen!

Awesome Story

This book has such an original storyline. You immediately feel involved with the characters, and hate the mogadorians!

Very disappointing

Boring, nothing like I expected it to be . I wanted to enjoy it because there are 3 other books on the series.

Kids stuff

The story was immature, too many holes and lack of continuity. Though it was science fiction the story lacks a level of realism or believability. Stories I read have to be logical , people's actions in different circumstances were odd.
