Publisher's Summary

Misunderstandings pull them apart. One crime brings them together.

Had Elizabeth Bennet known what awaited her at Rosings Park, she never would have agreed to visit. An atrocious proposal, the constant condescension of her hosts' haughty patroness, and an unsavory debt collector prowling about are only the beginning of her problems when a lady's diamond earrings go missing.

Fitzwilliam Darcy regrets extending his visit at Rosings when the only woman he's ever desired irrevocably refuses his offer of marriage. Just when he plans to depart with his wounded pride, an appeal to his humanity sees him extending his stay yet again...just in time for someone to rob his cousin's jewelry box. Elizabeth has stolen his heart, but did she steal the diamonds?

It's a race for the truth as everyone scrambles to discover the thief, hide their deepest secrets...and catch a troublesome swine.

If you like falling in love with Mr. Darcy and Miss Elizabeth as they fall for each other, then you'll love this sweet romance based on Jane Austen's timeless classic, Pride and Prejudice.

Listen to Accusing Elizabeth to satisfy your craving for a clean, sweet Regency mystery/romance today!

Lizzy, beleaguered from all sides.

A pair of diamond earrings cause chaos for the inhabitants of Rosings and Hunsford and enables Lady Catherine to wield her autocratic power against the innocent and weak.

Pre-rejection Darcy is still an arrogant jerk, but he comes to his senses in days rather than months when there is mystery afoot at Rosings and the love of his life is firmly in the less than friendly sights of not just Lady C, but two others who have, what they consider to be sufficient grounds to make Lizzy suffer.
An angry Charlotte, a naive and foolish Maria and a Colonel who has gotten himself into some hot water flesh out this delightful story.

I found the story generally flowed very nicely, but there was a fairly big plot hole which reveals itself towards the end of the mystery. Still, it was not big enough to blast the rest of the story into the realms of the impossible; it is still a very entertaining way to pass several hours.

From the excellent and prolific pen of Jennifer Joy and with the addition of the excellent narration of Stevie Zimmerman, Accusing Elizabeth is a not to be missed read (listen) if you love Pride and Prejudice and a cosy mystery.

Light and Airy PPFF, but not silly.

Light and relaxing. A bit fluffy but not dumb at all. Better than a lot of fan fiction.
