ENDING RUINED BOOK....

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

I have listened to the Steel Brothers Series and knew a bit about Abe from those books and was looking forward to this one. I won't give anything away but have to say that the last bit ruined the entire book for me. After listening to all the other MJ Fields books I am completely surprised at how she let this one end. So disappointed.

What about Lauren Sweet and James Cavenaugh ’s performance did you like?

I have always enjoyed Lauren Sweet and James was new and did a good job.

Due to the ending of this book I am having to give this a 2 star rating. I had intended to give a 4 star rating and then the last bit completely ruined it.

i would listen to James Cavenaugh. and im unsure about Lauren Sweet she was nasal at times.

the circumstances and characters are completely unbelievable. i got 4 hours in and just had to close it. it was torture. i feel dumber for having listened

Love this story

Love Abes story. Could not put this down. Had to know what happened next. A must read. Can not wait for the next story.

Abe Stars

To be honest I wasn’t sure what I was getting with this book. I loved other MJ Fields titles.

So getting a glimpse in to this world was pretty freaking cool if I am honest with you. I to feel like sometimes the character cross over could be smoother, only because I can’t remember how some of them connected to the other. Maybe I should have read the series in order I don’t know. But it still all worked well.

I loved Abe’s personality, his demeanour. He is everything you think of when you think Alpha male.
There first encounter is kind of cool, I really enjoyed that whole scene. Even though Abe is 26 and Nikki is 22 he seems much older, whether that’s from experience or what not. His lifestyle isn’t hard core or anything overly out there.

I found Nikki to be a little immature, but still a strong female character. If some of the things happened to me that happened to her, I think I would have fallen apart so good on her.
I think the only thing I didn’t like was the end, and how she didn’t stick to what she was doing. I don’t want to give anything away.. So over all enjoy Abe and glad I have more of the series to read.

I really liked the narration as well, I like the male narrator more, I usually do. But the dual narration is pretty awesome.

👞👠What a mighty good story!

Abe and Nikki's story is mighty good. You see, this man knew what he wanted in a woman. And he knew that woman had to be Nikki. Now, Nikki was an independent woman. She needed to get the full scoop for her college paper on what makes this handsome eligible bachelor tick. To say she put them on one hell of a course of danger to make it happen is somewhat of an understatement. But it was such a joy to go along for the ride. The narrator was really good reading their story along the way. These two stubborn, sexy, people were made for each other. I highly recommend their story. Enjoy!

Abe and Nikki

Did not expect Abe to be so.. Wow! He’s alpha, dominant, and super confident. Nikolette is sweet, a little insecure, but also a no-nonsense woman. This was a hot, steamy, and intriguing story. Abe and Nikolette have an instant connection but Abe is a little pushy making Nikki run away. There is a lot of push and pull between these two. I enjoyed this story.
Narration was fantastic.

I loved the storyline! Abe O’Donell is bff with the Steel brothers. He’s also their hardworking CFO.
He finally takes a vacation and goes to Florida for some surfing and a good time! Where his bunker is it’s attached to another. It has four beautiful single college students. He meets one and calls her Four! They have amazing hot sex and then she leaves him a pillow note thanking him for a good time.
He gets a little upset and returns to New Jersey. I absolutely loved this book, the storyline and plot was sooo good and the narrative was really good ❤️
Abe is a handsome, rich bachelor and is being interviewed for a local paper.
Nicolette Bassett’s is into journalism and what’s to go into interviewing athletes. She and Abe have a strong attraction and this book is a must listen!
I enjoyed relating to Abe’s mom. I got so emotional listening about them.
Such great characters, with suspense and drama, but a great romance and steamy love scenes 🔥❤️
I plan on reading/listening to this amazing authors books 📚

What was up with that ending?

Ok, so this book was very good (very sexy) but the ending was so stupid; like it was up to you to decide on what happened at the final scene. Otherwise, I would’ve given it 5 stars. I loved how towards the end Abe showed his love and softness, where in the beginning he was a complete egotistical a**hole.

Not as good as Men of Steel

I was super happy to read Abe’s story. It wasn’t terrible but I feel like it left a lot to be desired. Lauren Sweet has been a narrator in the past but her voice got too nasaly often with the character of Nikki and makes her sound like a whiny little girl, which I mean honestly her character kind of is. I feel eh about.
