The story follows Basharat and his adventures in Pakistan. Throughout the book Basharat and his family learn to deal with Pakisitan, their new home while missing India. The book consists of a series of stories that help the listener understand what the author was experiencing as that transition is made.  

About the author: Mustaq Ahmed Yusufi is an Urdu satirical and humour writer from Pakistan who has also served as the head of several national and international governmental and financial institutions. He received Sitara-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz, the highest literary honors by the Governmet of Pakistan in 1999.

Two geniuses

If there was any match for Yousufi’s brilliance, it’s Fawad Khan’s narration. Two such exceptional performances are rare to find. My favourite author narrated by someone who understands him thoroughly
