Publisher's Summary

"A" is for ache. "C" is for choice. "H" is for his. "E" is for Everly.

I have always gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to my personal life. Drug-addicted mother, obsessive stepfather, shitty upbringing, and one soul-shattering, heart-wrenching relationship. But everything changed when I met Alec Prescott.

I couldn’t stand the cocky hotshot lawyer at first, but after assisting him on one case, my opinion changed drastically. He became the beginning I so desperately needed, even if romantic relations at work are completely forbidden.

Unfortunately, falling in love with a coworker is the least of my problems. Funny thing about the past, it’s never truly far away. No matter how fast you run from it or how hard you try to suppress it, it’s there, lingering like a fog, blinding your vision, impacting your decisions, affecting your life.

That’s where Tage Andrews comes in. He’s the heartache I can never outrun. The man who saved me from my past all while pillaging my emotions. I want to avoid reliving it - avoid him - but he’s always there, lingering like a fog, blinding my vision, impacting my decisions, affecting my life.

This is my paradoxical predicament. Two men. One choice. Inevitable heartbreak.

A.C.H.E. is an angsty, fast-paced romantic suspense with ménage themes. Listener discretion is advised.

I’M ABSOLUTELY ACHING FOR MORE

For me, A. is for how ADDICTIVE this story was.. C. is for the CHEMISTRY that sizzled between them.. H. is for the HEARTACHE I was left with after the blood and bullets settled.. and E. is for the EMOTIONS that stirred, that blossomed, that bubbled, that burst and bled throughout this all too short listen. It was sweet, it was super hot, it was all kinds of good as a first love turned into a lost love and a new love turned into a forever love.. but what happened in the space in-between was unconditional love. It’s a well narrated love story, it’s a scorching ménage, it’s a mystery suspense as good vs. evil, it’s a triumph and a tragedy and it’s told from three people’s POV.

Worth a credit? Yes I loved it.. even if it didn’t end the way I was hoping.. but I guess it’s those books with that one two sucker punch that are always so unforgettable.. and, hint hint, it leaves a wide open space just crying out (along with me) for a follow-up book. So, please Ms. Never.. I beg you to never say never.. make your fans very happy with a second book about you know who.

Worth more than 5 stars

M. Never is absolutely awesome. Everly and Alec, Everly and Tage...become Tage, Everly and Alec. i wantedI more of this story, it left me with an ACHE. It even gives you the reference to Ghostface Killer not to the book but as a reference to one of the characters. I would have liked the ending to slightly different but at the same time the ending was inevitable. I just loved everything about this book. I've come to expect nothing but great reading when select a book from M.Never. You will not be disappointed.

Just kind of awkward

Not my favorite from M. Never. This story was rushed and unrealistic. It almost seemed as if the author was just trying to get this book over with. The plot was there and then it just falls apart. I can use my imagination to get through slow parts of a book but this one just stops having a storyline and falls flat for me. It was rushed and could have been a great story if there was just more development. Sam Crowley didn't even save this one and he is one of my all time favorite narrators!

💥💥🔥🔥Freakin' A.C.H.E.I.N..💣🔥👍

I read the reviews before listening to this book and the consistent comments were about the ending but I used a credit and so GLAD that I did. This story was unlike any thing I ever have listened to. And the story and narration was perfection!! This is a great book but not for individuals that don't like romances with menage sex scenes. No spoilers will be divulged but I loved this book. Sam Crowley aka Jacob aka Zachary Webber was awesome as usual and Brooke Bloomingdale is a fantastic narrator. So infatuated with these characters that I am looking for more books narrated by Lee Samuels and also looking for more books written by M. Never. Thank you!@!@!!!
I am wondering if this is a cliffhanger or just an unusual ending. I personally liked the way this story ended and wanted more. So much passion throughout this book and excellent characters. Worth a credit and then some.

I ACHE for more.

This story was amazing, it really makes you think and feel. It starts with Tage taking Everly’s firsts. First Kiss, first time and first love. Then we see Everly in a totally different life and falling for a man again, Alec. But who will she end up with. A real edge of the seat story with a different ending then you may think.

The narration was superb and I really enjoyed having the 3 voices (POV) heard.

Everyone needs to listen to this audiobook, a great credit for sure ❣️

It is heart ache-ing

This story clips right along and stays centralized on the three main characters. There is not much atmosphere behind them or major supportive roles. The cities they are in, the buildings, the people around them even those in direct conversation are almost inconsequential. Normally I’m a stickler about details and I want a lively atmo and good supportive characters but not this time. The central focus just seemed to shorten the reading time as only the most important details where given. My mind got to create much of the space around them along the way. Now on to the characters. Ever is and odd character not easily fit into any type. She’s not super BA nor is she weak she’s just a product of her life and struggling. She’s had a strange and hard life and is desperately trying to have a normal one, but she’s guarded and a bit reclusive. Alec was the most surprising how he just rolled with the punches was so easy to be loving and accepting. He was quite and a jerk so that was a surprise. But Tage, my heart hurt for him most. Some childhoods do permanently shape the future of a person and Tage’s life as an operative and an adrenaline junkie was put into motion when he was a preteen. I’m unsure how I feel about this story. Except that my feelings aren’t negative. As threesome storylines go this was ‘mostly’ believable. It was well written and edited. The audio was performed well and good quality. I guess I feel a bit mixed up ... both sad and happy ... left wanting there to be more ... wanting things to happen differently. But I did enjoy the story and I will read this again and look into other works from this author.

Different!

I loved that this was a unique story and unpredictable. The narrators were great. Definitely didn’t see the ending coming but I think it worked perfectly.

Standalone Story

Standalone Story.

Everly Paige is a secretary for the law firm where Alec Prescott is a junior partner. When the two are thrown together for a moment, Alec decides he wants to get to know her. Now that Everly is working with Alec on a case, she begins to see his human side. However, her past is always with her. Tage Andrews is always with her. Tage cannot leave Everly, even though she got out of her family's reach years ago. When he sees that Everly is with another man, though, Tage is determined to scare him away. Instead, the two come to an understanding.

If you're looking for a book with an office romance and a side of drug kingpin this is the book for you!

Liked this a lot.

Like her book Moto, it has happiness, sadness and love.
I was left hoping that Tage might find happiness of his own.
