I loved this book, not one of my usual book choices, but I'm so glad I downloaded it. The narrator is fantastic, the story is so funny, but a bit sad in a way. I would recommend it, it's a great listen.

Humour - humourless. Main character gutless. I won’t be listening to the sequels - I know what will happen and there are too many other books to listen to.

I really wanted to like this book. The narrator is one of my favourites, but even she could not save this book. The main character is a doormat for a mean mum/forced best friend. All I wanted to do was reach in to the book and get her to say no. It was tough to finish and I was left disappointed.
