A kind heart filled with words painted them onto a page Turning each one into an artwork free from hate and rage Each one of his words were created out of love, hope, joy and trust A stunning masterpiece that remained long after the author's dust to dust But someone read the poet's words and despised his wonderful creation Not understanding that their meaning could connect our divided civilization So the beautiful pages of rhyme were tossed away like useless trash A moment of outrage turning a heart full of inspiration into flames and ash
