I found this not as enjoyable as the first book. I thought Auburn sounded a bit depressed at times. perhaps plodding along in life. The narrator not as much fun as the previous book Sunshine at Comfort Food Cafe.

Shame about the narrator!!
A lovely tale as usual from Debbie. Another of the characters in previous books has centre stage and tells their story. It has that feel good feeling which leaves you feeling happy and content, apart from the awful impressions of poor Finn who is supposed to Viking but sounds more like Nessa from Gavin And Stacey!! ,and poor Seb who is supposed to be Spanish but seems to move from slightly Spanish to Welsh too!!!!. To begin I found it quite amusing but towards the end, it started to put me off the story a little!!!. Poor Rachael!! This is not meant to be a slur on you, I think they should have given you some help or found someone who could do a better job!!. I still listened throughout, and still enjoyed the story!. So no real complaints!!!.

Okay But accents awful
I’ve loved the comfort food café range but unfortunately the narrator was dreadful at foreign Accents for the two love interests as one was a Viking and one was Spanish and I didn’t know which one was speaking because they both sounded identical I’m very stilted.
