About this listen

It sometimes feels, if you let the loudest media in, that the world is set up to keep us down. This book is about quietening that noise and listening to all that universal knowledge and instinct we have within. Let’s not add to the media noise by putting ourselves down too.

A Way of Marvellousness is about creating your own marvellousness, and it starts with creating your own style of habits that you can weave into your day. Self-esteem is at the core, but it’s not all in your head. It’s also about engaging the physical, the emotional and the spirit, because they are all connected. It is not the way, it is a way, because there is no one right way of doing anything. Master any one habit and it could be all you ever need, but the real secret is to be a Jack-Of-All-Trades-Master-Of-Life.

Big business loves to use “Evidence-Based Science” (E-BS, or BS for short). BS gets its funding from the marketing department, who love using BS. Marketing know who to contract to ensure they get the BS that fits in with the best BS to sell stuff. I try to stay clear of BS, but sometimes the allure is so great. I am going to leave BS out of this book, and keep it anecdotal, most of the time.

Self-esteem, not 42, is the answer. Imagine a world where everyone likes themselves.
