I wasn't wholly impressed by this book, the characters felt quite drab and all over the place. I was first under the impression that is was going to be an enemies to lovers story since that is what everyone had been saying when recommending this book, but that was not what this was, at best it was disgruntled to lovers.

the smutty scene's were so quick that if you weren't paying too much attention for a moment you would miss it, While not having too much passion in it.

over all I didn't hate it but I found myself thinking "gods, how can persephone be this stupid"

I adored this take on the Greek gods! I didn't really know a lot about the lore of Hades and Persephone so was interested to see where this story would go. Oh boy, what a ride!!

I loved Meg Sylvan's narration of the book. You could tell when it was the narrator and then when a character was speaking. you can even tell the characters apart from the voices she used 👌
