Story
For lesbians in Provincetown, seductive Sable is more than just a bedroom voice on late-night radio. Through her talk show, Nightlight, she is a fun, anonymous friend and confidante, until one mysterious caller attracts her attention. Behind Sable’s “mask,” Murphy Callahan allows herself to enjoy the no-strings radio relationship - she’s mourned the death of her partner for three years - and ignores the growing attachment as their very public conversations push permissible limits.

I am not a fan of gratuitous sex scenes; however, in this story, a love-scene would have solidified protagonists' chemistry and intimacy in the reader's mind!
The story is great but with a love-scene would have been magnificent!

Harper can do it all!
This book/audio book (read and heard them both) proves that Harper Bliss is a master at the English language. Not only can she write beautiful pose, but she can interweave nuance into innuendo so that the reader is lost in her imagination. Yes, it's tame by Bliss standards, but nevertheless charming and romantic. I recommend this book in either or both mediums.

Carmen Rose is such a treat!
Was excited to see this book show up, Harper Bliss paired Carmen Rose seems like a sure thing!
Season of Love is probably one of my all time favorites. And this book has a lot of similarities, though admittedly it's a bit more tame on the sexy side, than the former.
Still, I enjoyed this one immensely, Carmen Rose is just the best narrator.

Good story/ No love scene/AMAZING NARRATOR
I was so happy to see a Harper Bliss book with Carmen Rose as the narrator (Seasons of Love is one of my all time favorites) but I think this story needed a love scene and I found it a little dull and draggy without it. The story was still ok overall.

Love this book and not for the obvious reasons
I will start with what I didn’t like: I didn’t like the narration, but sometimes you just need to hang in there and not loose interest in a book even if you don’t really like the narration. Carmen Rose, sounded so bored with this book, that it was heartbreaking.
Now to what I liked. OK so some people were disappointed that there were no sex scenes, I was not. It reminded me of the books I read in the 90’s, when I first came out and started reading lesbian novels. They were of all ages, and this book is for us the older ladies, and most of them were of coming out, and discovering lesbianism... I loved the latebian that was created here... I was / am a latebian as well so I related.
I don’t need a hot sex scene to actually feel the heat of the relationship in the book, it is nice to have a hot scene but it is not a must. And this book proved it.
So, to conclude: I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
