Publisher's Summary

One small mistake in the past will change everything about her future....

Archaeologist Sarah Baxter just broke one of the biggest rules of time travel: leaving a piece of 21st-century equipment in 19th century Regency England. Unfortunately, when she goes back to retrieve it, she makes an even bigger mess of things - resulting in the death of an English Earl. Now his brother is not only out for revenge, but he also has Sarah's device. Which means an entirely different approach is needed.

It doesn't occur to the new Earl of Earnston that his charming acquaintance is responsible for his brother's death. He is merely swept away by a passion that threatens his very reputation. Yet he gets the distinct impression that Miss Baxter is hiding something from him.

Now Sarah must find a way to steal back her device, hide the truth about the earl's brother and - most importantly - not fall in love....

Time Travel with a Difference!

I loved this story with its clever time travel theme written into a love story - one could say that in this instance true love really does transcend the test of time.
Sarah and the Earl of Earnston briefly meet under undesirable circumstances and later meet again and so the story continues until it reaches a most desirable ending.
Not only did I enjoy the story itself, (laughing or crying at times) but I was captivated and entertained by the very talented Lillian Yves and her many entertaining voices in the audiobook version.
Brilliant work from two amazing artistes and I happily recommend both the book and the audiobook versions.
I voluntarily listened to a free audiobook version and my review above is unbiased.

Couldn’t Stop Listening

This book was so good that I couldn’t stop listening. The book starts with a total immersion into the story line and doesn’t slow down. I love the characters and how well this was written.

The narrator brings the story to life and has such a range of emotion that you can almost envision it right before your eyes.

so good I hadn't had enough

wow this book was very very good and very interesting and so fast I didn't even see the time passing the narrator was incredible and that fact that it's a love story with fantasy was so good because you could see the main issue in the story without the fantasy as an interruption you could understand and loved the characters with the time traveling it's incredible and very good and very sweet

I loved the story and I loved the narration!

I love time travel mixed with touching romance. The story by Tamara Gill is exciting, suspenseful, and sexy! I've listened to Lillian Yves before and I fell in love with her character and how she brought me in to the story's world. I was a little apprehensive because I didn't think she could do it to me again, but she did!!

Travel gone wrong

"This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review."I don't read a lot of time travel books, but I enjoyed this one, Sara Baxter had left a map maker behind on a recent travel to 19th century England. When she tried to retrieve it it ended in the accidental death of an English Earl. and Sarah being shot in the arm. She returns to the 21st century to get medical help and talk to her father, who had sent her on the travel. Fearing what would happen if the map maker ended up in the museum, she is sent back to try again. This is a very good story and one I will probably reread soon. Tamara Gill wrote an excellent book and it was narrated wonderfully by Lillian Yves.

Go for it. You will be glad you did

I enjoyed this book. I love time travel. I love romance. I especially love when there is a dilemma the character is going through and you don't know how it's going to end. So you keep turning the pages to find out. This story has it all.

Over all good. Some large plot holes.

I over all enjoyed the light read. Character motivations were good. There are 3 or 4 raging plot holes that don't get fixed... ****SPOILER ALERT****
Her partner mentions they'll die if unsuccessful but it never gets explained really. Also deep undercover in the past and she happens to have a picture of herself available...? Just stuff like that.
