Publisher's Summary

There are no more secrets between Typhoeus and Arilla—nor is there much in the way of anything else. The dragon's revelations have strained their relationship past its breaking point.

Typhoeus has spent some time away from Rhelea—making preparations to deal with the ancient threat simmering beneath the surface of Creation. Arilla has studied the sword, readying herself for the battles she knows are coming, and Lord Traylan has finally returned from the capital to discover that his son has been murdered and his killer is being lauded as a folk hero.

Now the old noble wants revenge, and it soon becomes clear that he doesn't care who he has to hurt to get it.

Hellbent on finding Galen's killers, nowhere is safe for our duo as the greatest adventurers on the continent descend to hunt a dragon and its rider.

Winter has come, and what follows will shake Rhelea to its foundations.

The queer romantic, epic fantasy LitRPG genre mashup continues with A Sovereign's Banner, book two of Dragon's Dilemma! This time with bigger fights, higher stakes and even more scenes of a sapphic nature.

It's alright not as good as the first, but alright

Honestly debated dropping the book half way mainly cause Alrelia was very much all over the place in her character and sometimes down right stupid for an orphan and not very mature in knowing what she wants and surprised Tiff didn't slap her to bring her out of her dreamy ideals or leave her.
So for those of you that like me want to just follow the main characters you will have to skip chapters of side characters parts don't worry you don't miss anything and you pick up the information of what happened quickly it just might save you time. The side characters just give more details as to why things happening or how which next chapter explains anyway with the outcome. The two mains become very much their own persons so this is very much two different things in this book which I was hoping for more romance or chemistry but that very little happened this book is very much a lore info book 2. Performance is fantastic with so many characters To voice top notch. Will get book 3 when it comes out just to finish the story.
