This was beyond my expectations. I started it unsure but was quickly absorbed. So much depth to the characters, wrestling with pain, unfolding of memories and a beautiful story of redemption. It was an enjoyable romance. I highly recommend this novel but note that it comes with a trigger warning for anyone that has suffered childhood or adult violence and trauma. It’s not in depth detail but it is a cornerstone to the pain and redemption in this story.
