The Good Life Is Closer Than You Think

You spend your days going after some future “good life”—that place where you’ll have the right house, career, vacations, and relationships that we’re told are the prime ingredients. Once you get there, you think you’ll find the satisfaction and fulfillment you’ve been looking for. You won’t feel so disconnected, distracted, and restless once you achieve those things. Then your life will really begin.

But what happens if those things don’t have much to do with a real good life?

Sazan and Stevie Hendrix were successful at a young age and soon realized that their lives were surprisingly unsatisfying. Their restlessness in the wake of success made them wonder if they would ever truly be content. That was when they decided it was time to slow down and reevaluate how they approached their days. In A Real Good Life Sazan and Stevie share what they’ve learned about cherishing the beauty of everyday rhythms and cultivating faith and connection.

Come alongside them to discover how to

  • embrace the gifts and the goodness you already have;
  • be intentional with your morning, midday, evening, and nighttime routines;
  • develop habits of reflecting, focusing, gathering, and resting; and
  • stop outrunning the past and chasing the future so you can enjoy today.

With personal stories and practical advice, Sazan and Stevie help you realize that your real good life is not found in hitting the next goal, developing the platform, or getting the material things—it is found in your everyday life by cultivating the good that’s right in front of you, one good day at a time.

A great reminder to question the basics

Life can get complicated & full of to-do list. Running from work, traffic, bills, family, friends & working out, trying to balance it all.
This book helped me take a step back and question what I was after & why. Whether I was missing out on the moments on the way to achieving things. A good reminder for anyone to count our blessings, slow down & enjoy the things that actually matter.

Something went wrong. Please try again in a few minutes.
