It Was Ok
I am not sure exactly how I felt about this story. I know I did not like Gloria nor Clarance. I also had trouble with her Father who could not see for the blinders that he wore in trying to protect his daughterr. Michael was consistent in his own way. He hired her because his gut said to hire her. Each time it came to making a decision he would always listen to his gut and it did not lead him astray. The story was boring to me but it did have a lot of twist and turns. The narrator added a lot to the story and kept me listening even though therre were several predictable scenes.
I was given this book in exchange for an honest review via audiobook boom.

A Prescription for Love
Michael was my favorite of Tori's charges so I am glad that I was able to read his story. Heidi was so sheltered and smothered by her parents that I am surprised that she had the courage to run away in the first place but every person had their limits. It was wonderful how Michael encouraged her to make her own choices and taught her how to manage her asthma.
Mrs.Lester is the character who stole my heart. She watched how her parents marriage worked and followed the same path. She allowed her husband to make all of the decisions for 30 years although she wasn't always in agreement. Heidi's courage to make her own way in the world really opened her eyes. Mrs. Lester saw her daughter blossom under Micheal's care and encouragement and realized the error of her ways. She really impressed me when she wouldn't let the matter rest when Heidi naively, tried to sacrifice herself for Michael's happiness.
Her love for her daughter and her unborn grandchild really made this story!
One thing that bothered me about this series is the premarital sex because it happens in more than one book in the series. Sex was handled in a very contemporary way when this is supposed to be a historical romance series. Historically, women and their illegitimate children were treated abominably so I did not find it too believable that so many characters were so willing to throw away their reputations with very little thought or anxiety.
