Another great Lady Hardcastle story, While it did become a little predictable and I managed to guess correctly one of the big plot twists, its such a fun romp with loveable main characters this is easily forgiven. Elizabeth Knowelden brings quite possibly the best narration on Audible. You forget you are listening to a single narrator and not a full cast!

This is the fourth in the series of Lady Hardcastle mysteries and all I can say is that T E Kinsey is amazing! But T E Kinsey and Elizabeth Knowelden combined is sheer magic!

There are so many laugh out loud moments, but the mystery does not suffer for all of the comedic moments that abound. The interaction between Lady Hardcastle and her lethal (though tiny) sidekick is priceless. All of the characters are beautifully drawn and brought to high-definition-colourful life by Elizabeth Knowelden. Her performance is superb; her arsenal of voices and accents are eminently listenable.

I 💕 this series and look forward to more.

I've enjoyed the previous books but the plot for this one really just didn't work. The ending really was very anticlimactic
