The story was really entertaining, the characters great and the reading by Andy Serkis was brilliant. Lots of dark comedy, and some awkward events, but the story keeps you going.

Great storyline, it was very interesting and quite hilarious! Andy Serkis is a fantastic performer too, I felt like I was listening to a play with multiple different actors.

I love all of Adam Kay’s books but this one is my absolute favourite. Hilarious and extremely witty. The performance by Andy Serkis was absolutely fantastic and I would definitely say my favourite book of the year so far. I can’t wait for the next one.

Andy Serkis is a great narrator but I just could not get into the plot. The whole thing was very slapstick and not my preferred style of book at all. Will be returning this.
