Publisher's Summary

A Nearly Normal Family is the stunning psychological thriller from M. T. Edvardsson and asks what would you do if your child was suspected of murder, how far would you go to protect them? Do you want to know the truth? If you loved A. J. Finn’s The Woman in the Window or J. P. Delaney’s The Girl Before, you will love this.

Every murder case starts with a suspect. What if the suspect is your daughter? Would you believe her or the evidence against her?

The father

Believes his daughter has been framed.

The mother

Believes she is hiding something.

The daughter

Believes they have no idea what she’s truly capable of....

There are three sides to the story. And the truth will shatter this family to pieces.

Critic Reviews

"It is only fitting that a story about a family told in three parts should involve more than one narrator. Emily Watson, Georgia Maguire, and Richard Armitage complement each other's depictions of a dysfunctional household that is hiding secrets. Armitage opens the story with a strong interpretation of Adam's views on his family and his faith, emphasizing the strict hold he has on his daughter. Watson and Maguire pair well together, voicing a mother and daughter who are parallel in tone yet befitting and distinctive. These narrators embody a family that is not so normal after all." Gripping and couldn’t put down

Very hard to put down this book as it was intriguing and I couldn’t have guessed what was going to happen next. Found the legal parts informative also.

An excellent storyline.

The story was fascinating to listen to. And so wonderfully told. And I still listened enthralled as I decided that I did not like any member of the family! A great audiobook. I highly recommend it.

Finished it in two days. Very good!!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. I thought the way it was written was fantastic. I'm not sure if it was the writer or the voices but it really felt like the book was written by 3 different people.

A Nearly Normal Family

The moment I noticed who the narrators were i was already in! A triple threat of actors and a knowing of how particular Richard Armitage was with the books he narrates ensured this was worth the $16 odd dollars.

A mystery, suspense, thriller deserving of a Netflix series.

Bravo everyone. Bravo.

Best book I’ve read in a long time

Every time I thought the story was coming to an end, another point of view was presented. An excellent read!

Sydney

Not a normal family. It was a little drawn out, but overall the plot was good. It kept me intrigued.
