Editorial reviews

Voice actor Jim Killavey delivers a deft performance of the grimly realistic tale "A Mystery of Heroism" by Stephen Crane, author of the celebrated war novel The Red Badge of Courage. This short story, set during the American Civil War, covers similar themes. Confederate soldier Fred Collins is suffering from thirst, and wishes to fetch water from a well situated in the midst of a battlefield. He braves the action to reach the well, only to be confronted with a deep moral quandary.
