About this listen

Alone and bereft, Louisa makes the fateful decision to follow her sister into the 17th century. But, the best laid plans often go awry and she finds herself on the wrong continent, and in the wrong year. Louisa must cross the Atlantic to get to Virginia, hoping that Valerie is still there in 1620, and face the uncertainty of her situation as she makes the dangerous journey to the New World.

Meanwhile, Valerie is facing troubles of her own. She must discover the truth about the men in her family in order to save her marriage and solve a possible murder.

Will the two sisters reunite, or will they pass like ships in the night, never knowing how close they had come to finding each other?

if you enjoyed the first book you will be keen to see if Valerie can go forward in time or Louisa makes it back. this book does not disappoint. read it.
if you are doing the audible version again I say Fiona Small isn't a favourite narrator but there are much much worse (*cough Mary Sarah* cough).. lol warning towards the end Fiona attempts singing. you can tell she is nervous to do it and I am not 100% convinced that her chuckles during the song are for the character rather than herself . 🤣

Great continuation from Hands of time
