Despite the story culminating in what I felt was a bit of an anti-climax, my interest never waned and the HEA was sweet. It was easy to warm to the Earl's family, and his friends were an interesting mix. I liked that the romantic leads found love beyond loss and grief. Carmen Rose is one of my favourite narrators. I hope readers get to explore more of those characters in future books and that they'll also be narrated by her. I recommend.
