Publisher's Summary

From USA Today best-selling author W Winters comes a emotionally-gripping, standalone, romantic suspense audiobook.

I didn’t need anyone to tell me; I knew he was forbidden with a single glance.

He was a boy I should’ve been afraid of, and definitely a boy I should’ve never wanted. No matter how much neither of those statements were true.

From the first time I saw him, Sebastian had a hard stare that pinned me in place. And years later, it hasn’t softened.

We lived on the same street and went to the same school, although he was a year ahead.

Even so close, he was untouchable.

He was bad news and I was the sad girl who didn’t belong.

One night changed everything.

We both had secrets. We both saw the pain in each other’s eyes.

The gaze that gave me chills turned to a lust-filled haze that heated every inch of me.

But that didn’t change who he was. A man who would take everything from me.

A Kiss To Tell

This book is edgy, and suspenseful and all the things a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!

Just one Kiss is all it took

You never thought you when you meet someone as a child that you would meet again in high school. Then one faithful day you see her crying and you want to make her stop so you give her just one Kiss

This book was so depressing that I could barely get through it.

The performance by CJ Bloom and Alexander Cendese was wonderful as usual for them. They are super, talented, and rainbow sprinkles. The written description of the town and people cast a gloom and doom environment. I’m sure that was the goal. However there was never a light-hearted moment in the whole book. As a reader I want some point of happiness for the characters. I wanted some joke, something.....anything to smile about. That never happened. I didn’t like all the unanswered questions either. (Which I feel that those might be answered in the books to follow.)Their happily ever after didn’t really seem happy and that was crushing to me.

Depressing.

The writing was great but after all was said and done, this felt like a small time mob show. The ending, while it sort of had a HEA, was also sort of depressing.

I just want to take a nap now.

Amazing !!!!!!!

I loved it. Their story is amazing and sweet. Some people wrote on there comments that it felt unfinished well you go to read the rest of the books. Its a great series and my heart broke for carter and his innocence how it was stolen away and made him to the man he is in Merciless.

Lazy light plot, not the best

YThis felt unfinished, more of a buffer or prequel to Carter's story. The plot is light to say the least and Chloe is a scared miserable constantly whining apologetic mush of a woman who I want to shake and tell to grow a pair. She's literally afraid of her own shadow They both liked each other at school.. her and Sebastian.. so why has it taken so long to get together? The whole thing is odd and just doesn't hang together.
