About this listen

Blessed by the gods and goddesses, edoli have lived alongside humans for thousands of years. While some hold such abilities as shape-shifting and controlling the elements, the rarest are the kings and queens who can bond through blood with keepers and amplify their power...and their own.

Titos has been seen as useless and weak his entire life. He's never been able to bond with another edoli and has nothing of value to offer his queen. When a stranger saves him from certain death, Titos's life will never be the same.

Seth isn't just some random stranger: he's absolutely gorgeous and claims to have been drawn to Titos to serve him as his keeper. He assures Titos he is a king, and a powerful one at that. But a king isn't all Titos is....

After nearly killing Seth during their bonding, Titos is terrified of his abilities. Luckily, Seth isn't the only keeper drawn to Titos's call, and Mazki knows what to do to save Seth's life. The connection between Titos, Seth, and Mazki is immediate and strong, and it isn't long before Adom and Kail are drawn to Titos as well.

Contains mature themes.

This is definitely one of those stories that has a really good premise but wasn't executed to its optimal potential. The world, lore and plot are interesting but I wouldn't say it was well presented. It has great visual descriptions and very steamy sex scenes but the sex seemed to carry the story half the time. Also considering how old some of the characters are, most of them seem to be inexplicably emotionally immature.
The narrator was good but I'm not sold that he was the best person for this book. Can't put my finger on why, just a feeling.
With that all said, I will be listening to the next book with hope that the story writing gets better and also I just want to know what happens next.

An okay story with a strong base.

reminded me of a fan fiction. No real character building, plot or substance and ends abruptly.

porn without plot

While not exactly vampires, the Edoli use blood to initiate powers and enhance bonds and have fangs to prove it. Unfortunately, Titos has never manifested powers and is unaccountably weak for one of the nobility. That is, until he meets Seth, his first keeper, one of the gifted shape-shifting warriors who are drawn to pledge themselves, heart and soul, to love and protect to their king. Soon Titos’s rare powers become apparent and he’s attracting not just one but three more potential keepers.

I liked Brea Alepoú’s writing style in her Vitale Brothers series and I enjoyed this supernatural harem romance a lot. Having been raised in contempt by relatives after the death of his parents, Titos is humble and kind when his talents are eventually uncovered. I liked the slow-reveal world-build, the steamy fantastical bonding scenes, and the lightly overarching fated-mates / growing-into-powers story. The story is heavy on the sex scenes and the instalove but the plot moved forward enough for me to care about the characters and eagerly anticipate where this will go. 🎧 Veteran voice actor John Solo is a firm favourite and I loved his performance here!

Steamy supernatural harem romance!

Would probably read again. Interesting lore and plot. Wish the last chapter had been the first as it detailed all of the roles and hierarchy of people in this world. Hot sex and interesting main characters. Looking forward to book 2.

Its a different theme for me but I enjoyed the introduction to shifters and other worldly beasts. It was easy for me to understand and I felt a real connection with the MMC. I liked it. I'm off to listen to book 2. 9/10

I enjoyed this book

This entire book feels like the first quarter of a book not a full book not worth money but if it’s free and you want something horny and comforting and easy to read this is good.if the rest of the series was free ide listen too them all.
