Started and didn't stop till I finished at 3am. Excellent narration, gripping story, believable characters and a twist I didn't see coming, made this book top of my best reads so far in 2024. I've already downloaded the next book in the series. I'll be checking out more by this author.

I enjoyed this story. I didn't find it hard to keep track of all the characters, and just when you think you know all the answers, there's another twist to the story!

Not a bad listen with quite a few twists.. I particularly liked the way the defense threw some twists in with the legal argument but found a number of things too far fetched. It smelled a bit of Silence of the Lambs, but not as good. Not an original idea.

The twist at the end was unexpected..... and unnecessary. It was too far fetched beyond any belief.

Overall though I enjoyed the book although it could have been shorted as it dragged out in places

Cleverly done, plenty to keep you hooked in. This is the kind of book done in only a few sittings. Great idea to make it free for a while. I will be listening to the rest of them and paying.
Interesting characters, people you care about. And the twists!!!!
