i love this as the author writes from deep knowledge of psychotherapy so the characters have real depth. it's the best story i've read that combines this level of psychotherapeutic insight...

absolutely love the story and I think the narration really adds to it. You can hear Ruth's voice & emotions through the narration, I wouldn't go back to just reading this novel myself. 10/10 performance, she even does the voices!
