Enjoyed from.start to finish, great storyline, characters, and narration. have listened to several books by Fiona and always enjoyed.

Some of the accents were a bit over the top. It’s great to read in character but you’ve got to be able to understand the read- it’s not the Welsh language but the Welsh accents which weren’t very good.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Clare Mackintosh is a talented author who shares the beauty and isolation of some of the Welsh countryside perfectly. You are kept wondering until the very end. I’m hoping there will be a book three!

This is a great series. i love the length and detail of these books--as well as the setting. Ffion is a great character (though barely able to hold on to the job!), nicely balanced by Leo. The reality-show storyline is fresh and compelling. Some of the detail of the show stretched credibility (it was so extreme!) but it captured the spirit and excess of reality TV really well. Very clever and entertaining.
