About this listen
Mary and Ruth are the best of friends. Ruth leaves their village to work for a year at her relatives farm in the community on the other side of Town. Whilst away Ruth falls in love with a young man at the village, but is unsure if he feels the same way? Mary misses her friend very much and becomes lonesome after her Mother dies in a farming accident. Mary has a chance encounter in town with an Amish boy from another community, and she falls hopelessly in love with him. It “appears” he has similar feelings but is not sure. Ruth returns to the village. Friendship is strained when it becomes evident that the man is the same one. This story has a final twist to it...so how can this possibly work out?
