loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this story - the reality of life for two Amish guts who found forbidden love - but regardless of the expectations of the community, they allowed their love for each other to conquer all

the romance has a small age gap (18 yr/o to 25 yr/o) but the 25 year old is the employer who organises the job for the 18 year old. it feels a bit groom-y in parts. i struggled to cheer for a relationship that felt very unhealthy from the start.

Everything about this audiobook is marvellous just marvellous.. It makes you think of others in the same situation- they have to be so very brave.

I’ve never tried an Amish romance before but picked this one up on sale and grabbed the audio to listen. A different kind of Forbidden romance but very enjoyable and I love the main characters of Issac and David. The challenges faced by them coming to terms with being gay and discovering each other is brilliantly written and passionately told by John Solo.

Loved he story and the characters as they interacted and the story flowed it was absolutely worth the read and I will look for more.
