About this listen

Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.

Performed by Colleen Delany, Natalie Van Sistine, Jon Vertullo, Aure Nash, Renee Dorian, Anthony Palmini, Melody Muze, Nora Achrati, Matthew Bassett, Shawn K. It was wonderful to see Nesta come full circle and overcome her demons! I loved the friendship between Gwen and Emery, her relationship with Cassian, to see Nesta and her sisters reconcile and also Rhys.

I loved the dramatised version.

A wonderful ending

More Spicy. More primal love. And love. And love and despite the pain. We learned the best way to breath. All the feelings. Absolutely all of them.

Love and love and all the love

I won’t spoil anything. This is the best book of the whole series and listening to it made a world of a difference. I cried so many times and felt so much for the characters!

Intensity

This story has so much more depth than previous books. Nesta’s grief and self loathing is intense, realistic, and had me crying along with her. I loved her relationship with her new friends, and all the training scenes and sub-plot. The sex scenes were not only more frequent, but much better written. The voice actors performed these so well that I spent more time grinning like an idiot instead of laughing. I sincerely hope the next books continue at this quality (both in terms of writing and performance). There’s still a small amount of cringe but for the genre you kind of expect it.

The best by far

I loved listening to Nesta’s journey, overcoming her personal hurdles and learning to love not only others but herself. I adored how badass all the girls were, that they are becoming Valkyrie and that it was a hard relentless process and not just easy - the fighting scenes were epic!

Absolutely Amazing❣️❣️❣️

I adored listening to this one. It was truly amazing! The cast did so well with every scene, especially the naughty ones. This is the story that I needed of Cassian and Nesta complete with absolutely filthy sex scenes ughhhh!! I wish I could hear it again for the first time! I will be replaying this for a while!

Just Perfection!!
