Nice well-read book

One of Greene’s classics, about the desire for isolation, and the ways to (not) reach it - excellent performance. Clearly recommended.

An unusual story

Any additional comments?

Graham Greene is an excellent writer. I love how his stories have an ending we could never imagine. I can appreciate that his work is not for everyone, but if you are a Greene fan, this is worth a read.

A slow burner, but worth the time...

Took me about 2 hours of listening to get fully into it, but now that I've finished I want to start all over again! Captivating characters that are very relatable, intriguing story and as ever great conversation and questions put out by the characters, as you would expect from Greene. Great acting too. Overall loved it.

Enter the world of leprosy in Africa

With clear personal insight, Greene writes brilliantly about the disease leprosy and its impact upon life and its treatment.
