三代目三遊亭圓馬の速記が残っていますが、東京落語の名人・六代目三遊亭圓生が時折演じる程度でした。
如何にも馬鹿々々しく、落語の世界にはピッタリの題材で、もっと演者が増えてもいいと思います。
「上方演芸資料館」(ワッハ上方)第18回 平成10年5月13日
「桂文我落語百席」 四代目桂文我
平成八年（一九九八）、大阪ミナミに大阪府立上方演芸資料館が建設され、その中のワッハホールで約二年半、「桂文我落語百席」を開催し、残された全ての映像から音声を引き出し、今回のリリースとなりました。
当日の体調も含め、出来の善し悪しもあり、言い間違いや、アクセントも気になる所がありますが、これも若い時代の領収書と考え、世に出すことに致します。
当時の録音を聞くと、今は無きワッハホールの思い出が昨日の如く甦りますし、助けて下さった方々には、感謝しかありません。
ラインからの録音のため、客席の拍手や笑い声が鮮明に録れておらず、多少ノイズがあることも残念ですが、当時の記録を確かめると考え、それなりに楽しんでいただければ幸いです。
