Publisher's Summary

After seeing his wife's health deteriorate, Dr. Jay Davidson went on a search for the answers her doctors just could not find. His research led him to the techniques that he now employs in his five-step plan. Not only did his wife's health rebound, but Dr. Davidson personally began following this plan as well. Even though he was relatively healthy, he saw great results. This showed him that anyone could benefit from his plan.

After hundreds of his patients achieved their wellness goals using his techniques, he knew he had to share them with a larger audience. Of the success that he has seen in his clients as they incorporate his protocol into their treatment plans, Dr. Jay Davidson said, "The message is simple: No matter what your past is like or what current circumstances are, there is hope. You can make a massive transformation in your life for the better."

His 5 Steps to Restoring Health Protocol is simple: (1) identify the problems, (2) drain the junk from your body, (3) eliminate pathogens, (4) rebuild your body's tissues and pathways, and (5) remove the heavy metals, biotoxins, and persistent organic pollutants (POPs) that have ravaged your system.

This book is a must have

I am a health coach and read every book I can relating to health and wellness. This is by far one of the best books I have read. It is very detailed, easy to follow with great resources to accompany it.
I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to improve theirs or someone else's health.

Potentially good info but sullied by product plugging

There seems to be some good information in this book, but the author constantly recommends supplements from a particular company, often without even mentioning what they contain. As a result, the book starts to sound like an extended pitch for that company's products. I hope in future publications Dr. Davidson details the actual substances rather than just plugging a particular brand.

Revelatory

The information in this gem of a health book answers many questions I have had as a health researcher and coach. its given me hope for my own health and hope I can share with my clients. In regular doctor training it is being taught that scoffing at pepples' "nonstudy" results is not only encouraged but required; my son is enduring this propaganda right now. But when lifestyle, non-Pharma doctors and the Dr. Jay'-type doctors get real results that stick for hundreds, even thousands of people, the media ignores and withholds this as "anecdotal evidence." Its their loss! The bible has a scripture I love-- "they will be saved by 'the word of their testimony.'" (the book of Revelation). If God counts people's true experience as salvation-worthy evidence, then I say, its not only good enough, but the very best evidence... Do yourself a favor.-- learn how to keep your body in the healthy state you deserve to enjoy, or restore the health you've lost. This book is a great start.

Good information delivered in an annoying manner

There is good information in this book. Not all of us are religious and the constant bible references became really annoying. I actually returned the book because I just could not put up with it anymore. He should have called the book "The Christian 5 step health protocol" that way I would have known to not buy the book.

As cliche as it sounds...This is the book I've been waiting for"

This book has answered the questions I've been unable to get answered. I am more equipped to move forward with my own healing because of the 5 outlined steps. Thanks so much, I will be handing this book to all my clients.

If I had any idea this was going to be a religious

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If I had any idea this book was going to be one big long "god" promotion I would have passed and bought one of the numerous other books on adrenal fatigue. I bought this book purely on the reviews. All the reviews on Amazon were good - I am assuming these had to be paid or by friends and family. I think I had to hear god talk about 100 times in the first hour of listening. It's was really disappointing. I thought I was going to be persuaded to be saved by Jesus by the end.

Has 5 Steps to Restoring Health Protocol turned you off from other books in this genre?

I just wanted the protocol, not his delusions about what he thinks it meant to him spiritually, or what god thinks it means -- it's not even relevant. Not everybody needs a sermon! What a waste of time and quite frankly discredits whatever actual information is in the book.

Would you be willing to try another one of Jay Davidson’s performances?

NEVER.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from 5 Steps to Restoring Health Protocol?

Eliminate 99% of this babble about god and spirituality.

Any additional comments?

I want a refund.

Great book...it contains so much information it will take a few times to assimilate the content and notes would be needed ...but it's obvious Dr Jay has walked the walk so what he has to say should be heeded... really well narrated this book came at the perfect time as I needed it badly...highly recommend
