Not what I thought it would be

I was disappointed. I used an audible credit and basically got recipes read to me. I was looking for more information on the overall health benefits and why 5:2 works.

Great audiobook!

This audiobook is just what I was looking for! I liked learning the basics of the 5:2 diet, one of the fastest and simplest ways to burn fat and increase physical health. I’ll give this diet a try! Simple and objective!!!

Oh my! Can’t believe this diet is so simple and it’s not hype! Although I’d have to say that one will need time to adjust. However, for me, I believe I can work this out as I’ve got it all planned. Thanks to this descriptive and objective 5:2 diet book. Now it’s for you to decide.

Love it

This is less a diet and more an eating revolution. Everyone I know who has genuinely tried this has lost substantial weight and kept it off. I'm a convert, and so will you once you try it. The results for some people, like me, can be slow, but the slower the weight reduces the longer it will last.

As described

The 5:2 approach is a recipe for life. You will observe less hungry much of the time because calorie limitation tends to reduce your overall hunger and maintaining normal eating days tends to reduce natural desires. As they say, try it, I think you'll like it.

Helpful book

The concept helps you to not feel so deprived and constantly on a diet. You are not supposed to fast on two days right together. When she says fast, she doesn't mean absolutely any food but a very reduced calorie intake for those two days. It is great because if you have a special dinner or something coming up you feel more in control and just choose a different day to 'be good'. The book also includes some very nice recipes to help you stay in your calorie limit on your fast days. I've read several of this author's nutrition and diet books and I would highly recommend them.

Worth a try!

I give it a try and even if you fail you can always do it again tomorrow. There is not a set in stone way to do it or set days you have to stick to. You do what works for you! I like that this book gives you some quick and easy meal suggestions and recipes too. It helps and opens your eyes that a fast day does not need to be dreaded and is quite simple to do. This is one that works for me and I am going to stick with it. I received this item free for my honest review and this is my true feelings and thoughts on this book.

Worth a try!

Great ideas behind this book. The 5.2 diet is not a real fasting diet where you only drink liquids or have only fruit. It is about limiting what and how you eat for two days and eating what you want for the other five days. Worth trying!

Great little book........

A great book to read to know the basics. I will use the soup recipes. I tend to stay away from non-fat/low-fat dairy products, so I will be using whole milk/yogurt and just adjusting serving size.

Great Overview

This book has a great start for beginners. It discusses what the 5:2 diet is, some of the stumbling blocks and how to overcome them. There are also great recipes at the end of the book.
