Great Insights

Despite having studied management at Uni, I found that this audiobook gave me the road-tested insights to people that I know will made a huge difference in my personal and professional life. This stuff should taught in schools!

basic teachings

better off looking for a 5 minute summary, just a bunch of stories about how great the author is, and how you should do the same.

meh

this is my least favorite john maxwell book. the co-author is simply praising john in every chapter, the concepts are in john's other books as well as dale carnegie's how to win friends and influence people.

Straightforward and relatable tips and stories

Another fantastic book from John, this time co-authored and therefore with additional perspective side. Just like the title says, it's 25 straightforward ways to be a better people person and a better person yourself. No magic, just life practice. My only deduction from score is that narrator doesn't make pauses when switching between logical parts of text and so things get mumbled together sometimes. It sounds as if same part or paragraph is continuing but you realize 3ish sentences in that this is a new idea going on. Other than that - great book with some practical, down to earth advices and explanations.

Excellent Book!

I was truly inspired by this book. It included countless insights that anyone would benefit from professionally as well as personally. This is a must read like the book " Your Year of Turnaround: 40 Days of Encouragement" by Debbi-Ann Lawrence.
